mylifeistelevision:

The search for at least one of Will Gardner’s (Josh Charles) two sisters is now over. Studio 60 and Nurse Jackie actress Merritt Wever will be playing his younger sister Audra on CBS’s The Good Wife in a recurring capacity. The character apparently is a “free-spirited rebel with a rock-and-roll edge,” contrasting with the still-uncast “bean-counter” older sister Sara. The duo will tackle finding Will a new girlfriend, much to his consternation.

This show is working overtime to get me to start watching it again. I LOVE Merritt Wever, you guys.

"But the women on The Good Wife are smart, worthy, evil, complicated, ambitious, successful, and compelling. So are the men. The show proves that every once in a while, networks can do superior television. The new season starts Sunday, Sept. 25, at 9 p.m. on CBS."

— Nora Ephron and I both love The Good Wife and I love Nora Ephron.

Thanks CBS! It’s awesome that you’re doing this! I was worried your advertising would focus on the high quality of the writing and performances. Whew.
